Billie L. Reges
Billie L. Reges, 56, of Butler, formerly of the Eau Claire area, passed away late Tuesday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Born in Butler, Dec. 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Fred Albert and Bertha Stewart Reges.
He worked at the former Pullman Standard Co. of Butler and later worked in coal mining for various coal companies, including Perry Brothers Coal Co.
He was a former social member of the Hilliards VFW Post at Cherry Valley.
Surviving are one daughter, Lea Ann (Rick) Stalker of Hilliards; two sons, Scott L. Reges of Eau Claire and William L. (Julie) Reges of Emlenton; a special friend, Pat Hilliard of Butler; two stepdaughters, Kelley (Tom) Carr of Boyers and Lisa Padilla of Texas; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of sisters and brothers as well as nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Tina Wentling.
<B>REGES</B> — Friends of Billie L. Reges, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire. Funeral services will follow at 8:15 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Buchanan officiating.
