Terrence P. "Terry" Dorcy, 40, of Butler passed away Thursday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Butler, Dec. 7, 1969, a son of Rose Galante Dorcy and the late Roger J. "Dutch" Dorcy III.

He graduated from Butler Intermediate High School Special Education in 1991.

Terry was employed at Arc of Butler County for several years.

He enjoyed bowling with the Special Olympics Friday Bowlers at Family Lanes.

He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are his mother, Rose Galante Dorcy; two brothers, David E. Dorcy and his wife, Carol, of Butler and Michael Dorcy of Butler; one sister, Maureen "Missy" Mulneix of Butler; two nephews, Nicholas and Dante Dorcy of Butler; and two nieces, Amara Dorcy and Mackenzie Mulneix of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger J. "Dutch" Dorcy III, who passed away Aug. 26, 1999; and one brother, Roger J. Dorcy IV, who passed away March 9, 2003.

<B>DORCY </B>— Friends of Terrence P. "Terry" Dorcy, who died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.Members of the St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at the church at 9:35 a.m. Monday to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Arc of Butler County or to Butler Catholic School.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
