On July 30, Edward Schwier of Callery passed away.

Born May 31, 1933, he served in the U.S. Army. He then went into the Air Force and retired with full military honors.

He was raised with love by Frank and Margaret Ringeisen of Callery.

He is survived by his brothers, Lawrence Schwier and Jack Ringeisen; nephews, David Alters and his wife, Kelly, and Mark Alters and his wife, Kimberly; a niece, Margaret (Alters) Caldwell; and five grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ken Schwier, Carl Schwier and Irvin Alters; and sisters, Betty Alters and Wilda Schwier.

He was buried in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies of Bridgeville.
