Slomers

Thomas L. "Icky" Slomers, 68, of Butler passed away Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

He was born May 15, 1942, in Butler, the son of the late Andrew and Madeline (Cunningham) Slomers.

Thomas was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed stock car driving and spending time with his granddaughter and great-granddaughter.

He was a truck driver.

Surviving are a daughter, Sheri Davidson of Butler; a granddaughter, Taylor Davidson of Butler; a great-granddaughter, Lexi Davidson of Butler; four sisters, Margaret (Vic) Brown of West Sunbury, Martha Kowal of Butler, Ruthie Pollock of Butler and Patricia Neider of Arizona; four brothers, Andrew Slomers of Georgia, Buddy Slomers of Butler, David Slomers of Butler and Joe Slomers of Arizona; and his former wife, Shirley Jones of Butler.

Also preceding him in death were a granddaughter, Lindsay Selfridge; a sister, Mary Lou Thomas; and a brother, Terry Slomers.
