Frank Breitenstein
Frank James Breitenstein, 45, of Volant passed away Saturday evening at Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
He was born July 27, 1965, in Pittsburgh and was the son of Dorothy (Brunner) Breitenstein and the late Francis John Breitenstein.
He was the owner of the West Penn Tree and Landscaping Service, where he was so proud that his nephew, Jacob, worked with him.
He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in New Wilmington.
Frank was hardworking and anxious to help others. He enjoyed fun activities with his nieces and nephews. He loved to go camping, fishing, hunting, boating, shoot pool and play lottery tickets.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Breitenstein of Portersville; his siblings, nieces and nephews: brother, Jeffrey John (Rebecca) Breitenstein and his children Christin, Erin, Zoey and Nathan, all of Grove City; brother, Steven Michael (Esther) Breitenstein and his children, Marlena, Jacob and Kylea Rose, all of New Castle; and his sister, Lorraine Edith Breitenstein (Rick) Peterson and her children, Blake, Carlee, Harley, Samantha and William, all of Harlansburg. He also is survived by a number of close relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Rose Brunner; and his paternal grandmother, Edith Breitenstein.
<B>BREITENSTEIN</B> — Visitation for Frank James Breitenstein, who died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Life Baptist Church, State Route 208, New Wilmington, with the Rev. Ron Nagel and the Rev. John Bailey, his church pastors, officiating. Please meet at the church.
