Shooting reported at Tenn. town's post office
HENNING, Tenn. — Authorities say there has been a shooting at a post office in the Tennessee town of Henning.
Vice Mayor Debra Taylor told The Associated Press the shooting happened this morning. She couldn't confirm a report by WMC-TV that two people were killed.
Beth Barnett, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman, said there had been an incident at the post office but she didn't yet have further details.
Michael Lockett, an eyewitness at a market near the post office, said there were police outside the building.
Henning is about 45 miles northeast of Memphis.
