David 'Bud' Ross
David "Bud" Arthur Ross, 79, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 30, 1931, in Butler, the son of the late Harry and Hazel (McCullogh) Ross.
Bud was a member of Community Alliance Church and the VFW Post 249.
He enjoyed bowling and loved being around his family and talking about Jesus.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War. He retired from Pullman Standard after 31 years of service.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra and David Clark of Butler; a son, David and Cheryl Ross of Florida; eight grandchildren, David Jeffrey Clark, Derrick James Clark, David Andrew Ross, Sean Michael Ross, Kelly Christine Ross, Ian Patrick Ross, Owen Nicholas Ross and Aiden Lee Ross; two sisters, Hazel McCool of Florida and Carol Mook of Michigan; three brothers, Ken Ross of Butler and Earl and Harry Ross, both of Ohio; and a brother-in-law, Albert Nagle of Sarver.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Agnes (Nagle) Ross, who died April 8, 1996; a daughter, Mary Katherine "Kathy" Ross; a grandson, Jonathan Clark; a brother, and two sisters.
<B>ROSS</B> — Friends of David "Bud" Arthur Ross, who died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Young Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held at noon Monday at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, with his pastor, Rev. Dennis Krajacic, officiating.
