Dorothy B. Poskey
Dorothy B. "Dot" Poskey, 87, of the Evergreen Nursing Home in Harmony, formerly of Porter-sville and Allison Park, died Thursday morning at the nursing home.
Born in Boston, Mass., June 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Friesel.
Dorothy had been a dog groomer, and she and her late husband formerly owned and operated the Beacon Light Mobile Home Estates in Muddy Creek Township.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Eddy (Lylia) of Portersville, Carol Blackburn (Randy) of Cody, Wyo., and Linda Marburger (Wayne) of Slippery Rock. Also six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. Poskey, who she married Sept. 27, 1941, and who died Dec. 3, 1998; and a sister, Wilhelmina Daley.

"Dot" Poskey, who died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
