Quay R. Kriebel

Quay Richard Kriebel was born in Piney Township/Sligo, Clarion County, Dec. 7, 1935. He laid down his working tools Sunday.

He married Patricia Marlene Myers of Sligo on Nov. 26, 1954. They have resided in Butler since 1963.

He was a retired entrepreneur, owning rental properties, a dry cleaner and a laundromat. In his earlier years, he worked at Pullman Standard as head of quality control.

He was a 32nd degree Mason and a past master of Clarion Lodge 277. He was a member of the North Main Street Church of God, was active in the Keenagers class, and his heart and home were places where God lived.

He took an enormous delight in his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In his pastime, he liked to hunt, camp, snowmobile and enjoyed hymn sings.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Marlene Kriebel; his daughter, Mrs. Vicki Fenstermaker and her husband, Dan; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Kriebel; his grandchildren, Jason Daniel Fenstermaker, Ryan Quay Fenstermaker, Michele Lynn Kriebel and Rebekah Marlene Kriebel; and his great grandchildren, Jewelee and Lilee Hooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and one son, Richard Quay Kriebel.

<B>KRIEBEL</B> — A life celebration for Quay Richard Kriebel, who died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, will be held Wednesday at the North Main Street Church of God at 2 p.m.In lieu of flowers, the family requests your prayers.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler; and information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
