Charlie B. Borders

Charlie B. Borders, 79, of Winchester, Va., formerly of Fombell, died Monday in Berryville, Va.

Born March 22, 1931, in Marianna, Fla., he was the son of the late Jessie and Sarah Patterson Borders.

Mr. Borders had been employed as a mechanical engineer at the Mashuda Corp. until his retirement.

He was married to Evelyn Walker Borders, who preceded him in death Nov. 20, 2004.

He leaves to cherish his memory six sons, George Walker of Los Angeles, Eugene Morgan of Ellwood City, Charles Borders Jr. (Annette) of Beaver Falls, Anthony Borders of Beaver Falls, Nathan Borders (Karyn) of Winchester, Va., and Andrew Borders (Wendy) of Ellwood City; six daughters, Carolyn Morgan-Morris of Orlando, Fla., Gwen Borders Walker (Alvin), Karen Borders, Christine Borders, Rena Bates (Jim) all of Winchester, Va., and Sandra Borders (Lisa) of Pittsburgh; adopted daughters, Vicki Morgan of Butler and Sydney West of Cleveland; a brother, Julius Borders of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, two in Thomasville, Ga., and one in Lyons, N.Y.; two brothers-in-law of Thomasville, Ga.; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Tommy Vincent Borders and Clarence Morgan; four brothers, Theodore Borders, William Harvey, James Borders and L.C. Borders, all preceded him in death.

<B>BORDERS </B>— Friends of Charlie B. Borders, who died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A celebration of life service will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Alvin J. Walker officiating.
