Charles J. Sechan passed away Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

He was born in Pittsburgh on April 2, 1948, and was raised in Butler.

Charles moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1989.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Ida Mae Sechan of Portersville; his wife Michalina "Mimi" Sechan; a daughter, Shannon and son-in-law, Bill White; and a brother, Robert "Beau" Sechan of Portersville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brian C. Sechan.

<B>SECHAN </B>— Visiting hours for Charles J. Sechan, who died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, will be at the <B>Baird-Case Funeral home</B>, 4343 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308, 954-492-4000, Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at the Assumption Catholic Church, Monday at 10:30 a.m.
