It is time for all the little guys out there to band together against our so-called politicians. They do everything they can to work against us.

First, they don’t give fathers equal rights when it comes to their children. They make sure our laws guarantee that the Domestic Relations Office always gives mothers the upper hand and all the advantages. The fathers get nothing.

If our politicians really supported equal rights, they would tell Domestic Relations to tell mothers that if they want to raise children by themselves, they do it by themselves. If mothers don’t want the father in a child’s life, then they shouldn’t get financial support either.

Then there’s that no-smoking law passed by our politicians. How ridiculous is that?

Our politicians say it is a good thing. It helps us. How is that? Many businesses have said that ever since that ridiculous law was passed, they have lost customers.

How does that help these businesses, let alone the economy?

Also with this no-smoking law, it seems health insurance companies have had an excuse to jack up prices. How is that supposed to help us? If politicians say smoking is bad for us, then what about drugs and alcohol?

There are people who destroy their bodies on drugs and alcohol. However, they turn to the government to get any benefits they can since, for the most part, their bodies are destroyed. When they do, our government gives them money.

Now, if doing drugs is against the law, why does our government give these people money? Our politicians know that all these people will do is buy more drugs with it.

Finally, there’s the welfare issue. There are many people on welfare who need it. However, there also are many people who don’t need it. They just come up with every excuse they can so they can get it.

At the same time, there are many people out there who need it but can’t get it.

Instead of helping the little guy by solving the real problems, our politicians do what they do best — absolutely nothing to solve anything. They just create more problems for the little guy.

We need to force our politicians to correct these problems, or, simply, we need to defeat them when they seek re-election.
