Edward L. Lumley

Edward L. Lumley, 63, of Oakland Township passed away Thursday at his home.

He was born Aug. 31, 1947, in Butler, the son of the late Harry and Helen Osche Lumley.

Ed was a member of St. Wendelin's Catholic Church. Also, he was a member of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Department, the Happy Hunters and the Heath Township Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was a retired machinist from AGR International.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy J. Day Lumley of Butler, who he married Aug. 31, 1970; two daughters, Mrs. Staci Kelly and her husband, Albert, and Brandi Lumley, both of Butler; one son, Brian and his wife, Crystal Lumley of Fenelton; three grandchildren, Carolyn, Nathan and Catherine Kelly; his sidekick, Tabby; a sister, Mrs. Darlene Hilliard and her husband, Joseph, of Streetsboro, Ohio; two brothers, Gary (Patty) Lumley and Dave (Deb) Lumley, all of East Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

<B>LUMLEY</B> Friends of Edward L. Lumley, who died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, will be received at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Blessing service at 4 p. m.
