Kenneth E. Schreffler Jr.
Kenneth E. Schreffler Jr., 58, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1952, in Butler, the son of the late Kenneth E. Schreffler Sr. and the late Lenora (Clauser) Schreffler.
Ken was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School and then graduated from the Butler Beauty School, where he also taught. He had worked as a beautician and cook in the Butler community.
He was very involved in the Butler Little Theatre for 38 years, the Butler Musical Theatre Guild and the BAMA Auction.
He recently had been working as the dietary administrator at the YWCA.
He was former president of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
Ken was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are a sister, Bernadette and Joseph Swierkowski of Renfrew; a brother, Kevin Schreffler and his partner, Charles Jordan, of Butler; a stepbrother, Kenneth Govan of Butler; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Beatrice Schreffler; and by a brother, a nephew and his stepsister.
