James Leary

James Leary of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday with a surprise sit-down dinner at Conley’s Resort in Butler.

The celebration was attended by 72 friends and family members visiting from states including Florida, Maine, North Carolina and Colorado.

Leary was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Derry. He married Betty Jean Blair. She is deceased.

He has two children, James Leary and Ronald Leary.

He also has three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Leary is retired from the Butler County Mushroom Farm. He enjoys spending winters in the Myrtle Beach area.
