H. McCormick, 79, of Muntz Avenue, Butler, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice surrounded by her family.Born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George F. Hoffman and Nellie J. Parker Hoffman.Mrs. McCormick was a graduate of Butler High School. She had been employed by the Miller-Kingsley Insurance Agency.She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Butler and was a member of the Eastern Star.She enjoyed traveling and playing cardsShe is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hugh E. “Bud” McCormick, who she married July 7, 1956; one son, Hugh F. McCormick of Butler; two daughters, Carol Green and her husband, Al, and Nadine Rosenbauer and her husband, Gerry, both of Butler; three grandchildren, Bethann, Stephen and Kenneth Rosenbauer, all of Butler; and four nieces.

<B>MCCORMICK </B>— Friends and family of Katherine<B> H.</B> McCormick, who died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, will be received at the<B> Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, Butler, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.The family of Katherine McCormick suggests donations to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 154 Hindman Road Butler, PA 16001 or to the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
