Earle J. Stoops

Earle J. Stoops, 48, of Butler passed away Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice after a yearlong battle with brain cancer.

He was born Dec. 5, 1961, in Butler, the son Earle E. and Mary (Brown) Stoops of Butler.

Earle was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Also surviving, along with his parents, are four brothers, John W. (Patty) Stoops of Butler, James A. (Kimberly) Stoops of Dexter, Ga., Sgt. Maj. Brian (Carol) Stoops of Germany and Charles Clossen of Butler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
