Mary Fallecker

Mary Fallecker, 86, of Oakland Township died at 6:30 a.m. Friday at Elmcroft Assisted Living, Saxonburg, following a short illness.

Mary was born Jan. 8, 1924, the daughter of Odie D. Stanley and Mary E. Baxter Stanley.

She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed painting, reading, singing and playing the piano. She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Carbon Center, Butler; the Chicora Senior Center, and the Chicora Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her son, Rodger Fallecker; three grandsons, Max, Alex and Wil Fallecker; one sister, Rose Salak and her husband. John; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. Fallecker, who she married Sept. 4, 1948, and who died on Oct. 30, 1995; three sisters, Margaret Stanley, Eileen Miller and Grace Salak; and two brothers, John and Charles Stanley.

<B>FALLECKER</B> — Visitation for Mary Fallecker, who died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Steighner Funeral Home</B> in Chicora. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Rd., Carbon Center, Butler, with Rev. Steven Neff officiating.
