Joseph Andring III

Joseph J. Andring III, 61, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born March 8, 1950, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Joseph Andring Jr. and Gladys (Miller) Shipley.

Joe was a U.S. Army veteran, and he served with the military police.

He worked as a cement truck driver for John W. Thrower.

He was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church and the Victory Lodge 694.

Joe enjoyed socializing and going to camp with his mom and stepdad. He loved life.

Surviving are his loving wife, Bonnie (Wise) Andring, who he married March 9, 1974; his daughter, Melissa K. Andring of Butler; his son, Jeffrey A. Andring of Butler; his mother, Gladys Shipley of Saxonburg; his sisters, Joyce E. (Ron) Callen of Saxonburg, Alice F. Kelley of Butler and Karen S. (Rick) Kelley of Marwood; and his stepbrother, James (Mary Ann) Shipley of Baden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Andring Jr., and his grandparents.

<B>ANDRING </B>— Friends of Joseph J. Andring III, who died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Additional visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.Victory Lodge 694 will conduct a Masonic funeral service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the Cabot United Methodist Church, 707 Winfield Road, Cabot, PA 16023; or a charity of one's choice.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
