Ronald D. Bash, 46, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

Ronald was born at Butler Memorial Hospital, Feb. 6, 1965, to the late Robert Bash and Mildred (Bargerstock) Bash.

He resided at 147 Autumn Drive.

Ron participated in many activities with Valley Community Services.

He enjoyed attending church services at Community Life Church, and he looked forward to his weekly letters he received from his longtime friend, Eleanor Comstock. Ron enjoyed puzzles, arts and crafts and being out in the community, especially going to the library. He also enjoyed restaurants and loved to eat.

Ron touched the hearts of many people and he will be greatly missed.

Ron is survived by two sisters, Ileen Merchant from Syracuse, N.Y., and Elain Amer from Rochester, Minn.; and one brother, Harold Bash. He also is survived by three nieces, Susan Carver, Sara Amer and Connie Hassler; and three nephews, Joshua and Nathaniel Merchant and Stephen Bash.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Barbara Bash; and one niece, Kristina Amer.

<B>BASH</B> — Friends of Ronald D. Bash, who died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, will be received Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Steve Ogle, of Community Life Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McCarthy Foundation @ Valley Community Services, P.O.
