Mary Jane Knoll

Mary Jane Knoll, 63, of Karns City died unexpectedly at 4:20 a.m. Monday in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital as the result of a heart seizure.

She was born in Butler, March 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Harry L. Manny Sr. and the late Rachel McClure Manny.

Mary Jane was a cashier at the A Plus Sunoco gasoline station at the corner of Jefferson and Monroe streets in Butler for 11 years.

Surviving are her longtime companion, Dennis Bell of Karns City; two daughters, Lisa Schnur and her companion, Brad, of Chicora and Terri Knoll of Windham, Ohio; three sons, Joseph Knoll and his wife, Xiu, of Toney, Ala., Jeff Knoll and his fiancee, Jan, of Chicora and Brent Knoll and his companion, Dawn, of Revenna, Ohio; seven grandchildren; a brother, Harry L. Manny Jr. and his wife, Mariann of Ford City; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.

<B>KNOLL</B> — Friends of Mary Jane Knoll, who died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets in Chicora. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Wallace, pastor of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of East Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, officiating.
