Mary Ann Kennedy, 85, of Templeton died Wednesday at her home.

Born Sept. 11, 1925, in Distant, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Chrisswell Bowser.

She had been employed with Rollo-Jensen in Punxsutawney.

Mrs. Kennedy was of the Methodist faith.

She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and was a beloved and cherished mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Douglas F. (Donna) Kennedy of Templeton, Deborah (Terry) Reesman of New Bethlehem, Pamela Songer and her friend, David Cook, of New Bethlehem, Karen (Brian) Anderson of New Bethlehem, Bernadene Kennedy of Pittsburgh, Bernadette (David) Kennedy-Hall of Bear Rocks, Fayette County, Tina Adams and her friend, Bill Blevins, of Templeton and Ramona Kennedy of Butler; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Kenneth “Red” Bowser Sr. of New Bethlehem and James Bowser of Distant.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank C. Kennedy, who died Nov. 7, 1985; a sister, Cleo Freedline; and two brothers, Marion “Dick” and Thomas “Bob” Bowser.

<B>KENNEDY</B> — Friends of Mary Ann Kennedy, who died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home</B>, Kittanning. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jay Schweinberg officiating.
