Robert J. Uram

Robert J. Uram, 61, of Madison, Wis., passed away at 3:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital after a short illness,

He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Butler and graduated from Butler High School in 1967.

Robert received a scholarship to Case Western Reserve University and earned a masters in physics and a masters in computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He then worked at the Space Science and Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin.

He was a naturalist at heart with a great love of the earth, and wrote the published book, “Binoculars for Birders.” Robert was also an excellent website designer.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph N. Uram and Frances M. Hortert Uram of Butler; three sisters, Marcia (Larry) Brown, Barbara (David) Wright and Linda M. Souzer; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

<b>HENRY</B> — Private interment at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors will be in January for William “Bill” Henry, who died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010.Arrangements have been entrusted to the <B>John Syka Funeral Home</B>, Ambridge.
