Tillie McNany

McNany

Tillie McNany, 92, formerly of Emlenton, went to her new home at 1:25 a.m. Sunday. Tillie had lived at Sugarcreek Station since May 2004.

She was born in Emlenton, Nov. 18, 1918, to Joseph and Bessie Kelly. She was the last surviving member of the Kelly family.

In 1938, she married Philip W. McNany, and he preceded her in death in 1982.

Tillie's greatest joy at Sugarcreek Station was being a part of all the activities, especially bingo and music programs.

She is survived by five children, Dona Reed and her husband, Don, of Franklin, Joseph McNany and his wife, Kathy, of Emlenton, H. James McNany and his wife, Peggy, of Emlenton, Ronald McNany and his wife, Vickie, of Chicora and David McNany and his wife, Sarah, of Johnson City, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Kathlene Hall of Emlenton; a stepson, Philip McNany of Germany; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald McNany; two stepsons, George and Donald McNany; two brothers, and two sisters.

<B>MCNANY </B>— There will be no visitation.
