Julia A. Sutton

Julia A. Sutton, 87, of Karns City passed away at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Autumn Grove Care Center following an illness.

She was born May 15, 1923, in Eau Claire and was the daughter of the late Theodore S. Altmire and Julie E. Kelly Altmire.

She was employed years ago as a tool grinder at Cooper Bessemer in Grove City. She also had been employed at the assessment office in the Butler County Courthouse.

She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd P. Sutton; one daughter, Mrs. Todd (Carolyn) Schuyler of New York; one son, Dennis Sutton of Petrolia; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

As the last surviving member of the Altmire family, she was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.

<B>SUTTON</B> — Friends of Julia A. Sutton, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, will be received at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father James Bedillion, of the St. Alphonsus Parish, officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
