Leila Maria Causer
Leila Maria Causer, 90, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away Dec. 24 at Sweet Home Belmont in Henderson, Nev.
She was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Carnegie, the daughter of the late Jefferson Caleb Warren and the late Sarah (Edmonds) Warren.
She was a retired food service worker at Slippery Rock University and attended church in West Sunbury.
She is survived by her daughter, Violet of Las Vegas, Nev.; her granddaughter, Chrystal Wood of Jamestown, N.Y.; six nephews, Jeff Warren of Greer, S.C., Ron Leach of Victoria, Texas, Dan Shipton of Slippery Rock, Brian Shipton of Cranberry Township, and John and Tom Moyer of New Jersey; three nieces, Joni Bencic of Slippery Rock, Carol Moyer of Maryland, and Linda Seaman of Indian Trail, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert T. “Skinny” Causer, who died Sept. 2, 1984; one son, Edmond; two sisters, Cecilia Moyer and Wilma Shipton; and one brother, Edmond J. Warren.
