Carolyn Mary Anthony Durci

Carolyn Mary Anthony Durci celebrated her 90th birthday with a family gathering at Sugar Creek Rest Home.

The former Carolyn Mary Aiken was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Greenville.

She was married to John Anthony until his death in 1971. She was married to Andrew Durci until his death in 1997.

She has six children, Joann Schnur of Herman, Sandra Miller Durci, Ronald Anthony, Donald Anthony, Richard Anthony of Butler and Hughston Anthony of Chicora.

She also has 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was one of the early students in Butler County Community College’s nursing program and worked at Sunnyview and at the VA Medical Center as an LPN until her retirement.
