As a resident of the city of Butler whose property is adjacent to Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, I am absolutely against any type of Marcellus Shale gas drilling on the county land.

I will not support any candidate for Butler County commissioner or other political office who advocates for Marcellus Shale drilling at Sunnyview.

If others think this issue does not impact them, they should realize that it most certainly does, because their property and quality of life might suffer at some point in the future due to a government entity, business and/or individual who wants to make a quick buck by allowing drilling on adjacent land — without any type of prior consent or notification.
