Frank Sharrar, 58, of Zelienople died Sunday at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Born June 12, 1952, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William Frederick Sharrar Sr. and Margaret Louise (Knauf) Sharrar.

Frank, who worked 35 years at Herr-Voss, was an avid woodworker who helped many family members and friends with building projects.

He also was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially with his dog, Phei.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie (Carothers) Sharrar, who he married June 26, 1971; daughters, Beverly Derby of Zelienople and Nicole Sharrar of Zelienople; brothers, Bill Sharrar Jr. (Beverly) of Evans City and Tom Sharrar of Evans City; a sister, Nancy Broerman (David) of Evans City; and grandchildren, Brittani (Andrew), Alley and Steven (Michelle).

Frank also is survived by many family members and friends who loved him dearly.

<B>SHARRAR </B>— Friends of Frank Sharrar, who died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
