Halstead

Jon Robert Halstead, 48, of Saxonburg passed away at 12:15 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born April 15, 1962, the youngest of six children of Howard and Nancy Staley Halstead of Saxonburg.

He was a 1980 graduate of Knoch High School.

He was employed by the Bluebird Bus Co.

He enjoyed working on cars and working the family farm with his father.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Mrs. Rebecca (David) Griffith of Madison, Ohio, Mrs. Ellen (David) Fogel of Saxonburg, Mrs. Ruth (Tom) Bates of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Melinda (Gene) Pegher of Slippery Rock, and Mrs. James (Linda) Halstead of Saxonburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
