Richard Rex Bonnett
Richard Rex Bonnett, 75, of Butler died at 1:16 a.m. Monday in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born April 1, 1935, in Rimersburg, he was the son of the late Max W. Bonnett and Rebecca Shick Bonnett.
Mr. Bonnett graduated from Butler High School in 1952 and from Edinboro University in 1956.
He retired with 42 years of service from Spang & Co., where he was a supervisor.
He attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in America and was a member of Butler Lodge 272 F&AM, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of New Castle, Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh and Caravan 14 of Butler.
Mr. Bonnett is survived by his wife, Nancy S. (Leith) Bonnett, who he married Dec. 22, 1956; one daughter, Kimmy and her husband, Mark Boyce, of Butler; two sons, Dr. Richard Bonnett and his wife, Terri, of Butler and Bruce Bonnett of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Bonnett, Trent Bonnett, Heidi Boyce and Holly Boyce.
<B>BONNETT </B>— There will be no public visitation. A private family service for Richard Rex Bonnett, who died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, was held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Walter Coppersmith, of Westminster Presbyterian Church in America, officiating.
