Robert L. Cypher of Olney, Md., passed away Jan. 20.

He was born Dec. 10, 1938, in Saxonburg.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carol, and his brothers, Martin Neal and Alan.

He was a Navy veteran, and he settled in the Washington, D.C., area in 1960.

Bob finished his long research and lab inspection career at the EPA Center in D.C.
