Shelby 'Sonny' Summerville III
Shelby “Sonny” Craul Summerville III of Chiefland, Fla., was received into heaven at 4 a.m. Wednesday. He was 69.
Born in Butler, Jan. 2, 1942, he was the son of Shelby and Ida (Gray) Summerville.
He married Leah Clovis Summerville on Dec. 17, 1988.
Over the years, he and his wife made their home in Asheville, N.C., and Sheridan, Wyo., before settling in Chiefland on their minifarm with their horses.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, golfing, joking and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Leah Summerville in Chiefland; one son, Bill Bianco and his wife, Yvonne, in Daytona, Fla.; three daughters, Roeshel Summerville and her husband, Russell Burdelski, in Butler, Bobbi Rock in Butler and Patti Summerville in Cedar Key, Fla.; two stepsons, David Sloan and his wife, Tina, in West Sunbury and Marcus Arredondo and his wife, Cindy, of Dunnellon, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Diane Cutchall and her husband, Wade, in Grove City and Latina McCarson and her husband, Dane, of St. Augustine, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, Amber Bianco, James Hendrickson, Lisa Bianco, Brianna and Alainee Summerville, Zachary, Kaleb and Simon Rock, Angel and Austin Minehart, Desiree and Justin Cutchall, Jessica English and John Cunningham and Alicia Brodeur; a step-great-grandson, Jace Raney; three sisters, Patricia Lunz and her husband, Jack, of Ocala, Fla., Terry Eppinger of Ocala, Fla., and Cindy Bilowich and her husband of Summerfield, Fla.; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
