Mary C. Belles, 59, of Evans City died Thursday at 3:55 a.m. in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Jan. 12, 1952, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William R. Shaner and Naomi Isalie Shaner.

Mrs. Belles was a member of the Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was deeply involved in her family and religion.

Mrs. Belles is survived by three sons, Larry Belles and his wife, Betty, Rob Belles and his wife, Dena, and Jim Belles and his wife, Cheryl; four grandchildren, Joanna Belles, Rick Belles, Cassidy Belles and Dustin Belles; two step-grandchildren, Lucas Lutz and Troy Lutz; two brothers, Bill Shaner and his wife, Brenda, and Rick Shaner and his wife, Gayle; two sisters, Evelyn Frankenstein and her husband, Roger, and Marge Fend and her husband, Kevin; a number of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Belles was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Belles, who she married May 15, 1970 and who passed away Dec. 28, 1999.

<B>BELLES</B> — Friends of Mary C. Belles, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, will be received at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Fish and Rev. James Lynn of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society Attn. Breast Cancer Research, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or to the Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Rd., Butler, PA 16002.
