County farm bureau sets annual spring meeting
The Butler County Farm Bureau’s annual spring meeting will be held April 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Atrium, New Castle Road, Prospect.
This year will be the 60th anniversary celebration of the Butler County Farm Bureau. Born in 1951, the Butler County Farmers Association became known as the Butler County Farm Bureau in 1994.
Over the years the organization has helped with legislation, education programs, services and working to solve common problems facing farm families.
The meeting’s keynote speaker will be Richard Ebert, vice president of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
There will be a member services information report and committee report, among other activities.
Reservations are required and due by March 29. Cost is $18 per person.
