Raymond Gratzer

Gratzer

Raymond H. Gratzer, 77, of Sarver passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 25, 1933, in Sarver, he was the son of John and Dorothy Campbell Gratzer.

Ray served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

In his younger years, Ray enjoyed drag racing. He loved bowling and watching NASCAR racing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Marburger Gratzer of Sarver; his daughter, Heather (Eric) Brenner of New Castle; two grandchildren, Addison and Drew Brenner; two brothers, Harold (Jan) Gratzer of St. Louis, Mo., and Donald (Norma) Gratzer of Cabot; and a sister, Dottie (Leo) Hanna of South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

<B>GRATZER</B> — Friends of Raymond H. Gratzer, who died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. There will be no services.
