James R. Coe

James “Jim” R. Coe, 68, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Edgar R. and Harriet (Smith) Coe.

Jim retired from working in the coal industry, and he was a member of the Miners' Union.

He loved and enjoyed horses and the outdoors and also liked antiques.

Surviving are his wife, Jane (Willis) Coe, who he married Jan. 6, 1964; a daughter, Kathy and Greg Felsing of West Sunbury; two grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Felsing; and a brother, William Coe of Saxonburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Coe.

<B>COE</B> — Friends of James “Jim” R. Coe, who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, will be received at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with Elder Daniel Harrington of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness officiating. Interment will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
