Jill Marie Bowser, 25, of Browntown Road, Slippery Rock, Mercer Township, died at 1 p.m. Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Born in Franklin, Nov. 27, 1985, she was the daughter of Gerald A. “Jerry” Bowser and MaryLou Hartle Bowser.

She was a member of the West Unity Community Church, Harrisville.

Jill was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School, Class of 2004, and attended the Butler Beauty School and Penn State Cosmetology in Sharon.

Her hobbies included writing, drawing, riding 4-wheelers and cooking. She loved fashion and anything to do with hair and makeup. Jill's family and relatives were most important to her.

Surviving are her parents, Gerald A. “Jerry” and MaryLou Bowser of Slippery Rock; a brother, Daniel A. “Danny” Bowser and his wife, Wendy, of Grove City; and grandparents, Gerald E. and Betty J. Bowser of Grove City. Also she is survived by several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Theodore A. “Ted” and Arlene Hartle.

<B>BOWSER</B> — Funeral services for Jill Marie Bowser, who died Sunday, March 6, 2011, will be at the West Unity Community Church, 400 Unity Road, Harrisville, Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Boyd Smith, pastor of the church, officiating. Visitation will be at the <B>Cunningham Funeral home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.Contributions in Jill’s memory may be made to the West Unity Community Church, 400 Unity Road, Harrisville, PA 16038.
