Linda L. Baptiste
Linda L. Baptiste, 66, of Butler passed away Monday at the Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.
Born in Butler, Aug. 14, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Bayard and Charlotte Weitzel Kiddle.
She was a homemaker, and was formerly employed at the Moonlight Mushroom mine and at Angler Fishing Products.
She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Walters and her husband, Dennis, of Butler; two sons, Terry Baptiste of Butler and Phillip Baptiste of Butler; nine grandchildren, Michael Cain and his wife, Brittany, of Butler, Tiffanie Rodgers and her husband, Joshua, of Butler, Jennifer Eppinger and her husband, Robert, of Butler, Melissa Hesselgesser and her husband, Kevin, of Butler, Matthew George of Butler, Dianna Coyle Toogood and her husband, Jason, of Butler, Baylee Baptiste of Butler, Derek Mulneix of Butler and Justin Karem of Butler; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Baptiste, who passed away Nov. 25, 1995; one son, Douglas Baptiste; and two brothers, Robert Kiddle and Duane Kiddle.
<B>BAPTISTE</B> — Friends of Linda L. Baptiste, who died Monday, March 28, 2011, will be received in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 1 p.m. at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the St. Mary Cemetery in Herman.Members of the St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at the church Saturday at 12:35 p.m. to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net..
