Phillip 'Jim' Mochel

Phillip James “Jim” Mochel, 70, Sarver of passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, following a long illness.

Born April 29, 1940, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Fred and Nell (Young) Mochel.

He was a graduate of Freeport High School.

Jim worked as a machine operator for Glenshaw Glass.

He enjoyed going to camp, fishing, hunting and doing crossword puzzles.

Surviving are his loving sister, Georgia Wilson of Butler; a niece, Kimberly (Ken) Trost of Cranberry Township; a great-nephew, Nathan Trost of Cranberry Township; a great-niece, Megan Trost of Cranberry Township; and a host of cousins and family friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judith (Mozzy) Mochel, who passed away Jan. 8, 2009.

<B>MOCHEL</B> — Friends of Phillip James “Jim” Mochel, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023 or to the American Cancer Society, Greater Pittsburgh Unit, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
