Arlie Marie (Hartley) Butler
Arlie Marie (Hartley) Butler, 76, of Clintonville died of heart failure April 3 at Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minn.
She was born July 8, 1934, in Harrisville, the first born of Jay and Dorothy Hartley.
She lived in Cherry and Marion townships in northern Butler County and was a 1952 graduate of West Sunbury High School
Arlie sold Lifetime Cookware for 30 years, was district manager and won many awards for top sales.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Ione Butler and three grandchildren, Sophia, Kristina and Jonathan Butler of Minnesota; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Ann Hartley; a niece, Lori Hartley; two nephews, Troy and Eric Hartley of California; and cousins, Doreen Pennington, Gail Donaldson, Steve Bollinger, Frances Stewart, Eileen Machesney, Donald McCandless and Corrine Frampton of Pennsylvania.
<B>BUTLER</B> — A memorial service for Arlie Marie (Hartley) Butler, who died Sunday, April 3, 2011, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Boyers United Methodist Church. A reception will follow in the church basement. Burial will be at the New Hope Cemetery.Flowers will be received at the church on the day of the service.Memorials will be received by the family to defray nursing home expenses.
