Gordon Raymond Reamer, 66, a lifelong resident of the Saxonburg/ Sarver area passed away Thursday after a long illness.

Born May 27, 1944, in Butler, he was the son of Raymond and Armeda (Rummel) Reamer.

He was a 1963 graduate of Knoch High School and served with the Pennsylvania Nation Guard.

Gordon retired from Armco Steel.

He was a member of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.

Gordon enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, researching his family history and hunting.

Surviving are his loving sons, Toby Reamer of Saxonburg and Tory Reamer of Sarver; his two grandchildren, Rayanne and Hunter; his sister, Nancy (James) Daley of Saxonburg; and his nephew and niece, Jim Daley and DeeDee Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, Sammy; and a niece, Darlene Benson.

<B>REAMER</B> — Friends of Gordon Raymond Reamer, who died Thursday, April 28, 2011, will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A brief memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Private burial will be at St. Luke's Cemetery in Saxonburg.In lieu of flowers and in appreciation of their many acts of kindness and friendship throughout Gordon's illness, the family requests memorial donations to the Parish Health Ministry, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E.
