Gail L. Curfman
Gail L. Curfman, 63, of Sarver passed away Sunday at the Hospice of Palm Beach County in Florida, on the 40th anniversary of her and her husband Galen's engagement.
Born Aug. 4, 1947, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of James R. and Florence Ferguson Leslie.
She had worked for Nationwide Insurance in Butler.
She was a member of the Freeport Road Alliance Church and the Alliance Women, where she had been president.
Gail was interested in missions and had worked at the local level. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her family, walking on the beach, looking at flowers, and singing and reading stories to her grandson.
Surviving are her loving husband, Galen Curfman, who she married June 26, 1971; two daughters, Vicki Curfman of Palm Beach, Fla., and Andrea (Jason) Sprague of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Patricia (Harold) Bowser of Cabot, Marjorie (Michael) Golembeski of Lower Burrell and Sandra (Jonathan) Bargerstock of Lower Burrell; a brother, James (Jackie) Leslie of Sarver; and her grandson, Logan Sprague.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Kelly.
<B>CURFMAN—</B><B> </B>— Friends of Gail L. Curfman, who died Sunday, May 1, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Freeport Road Alliance Church with the Revs. James Kunes and Timothy McGarvey officiating.
