Richard G. Higgins

Richard G. “Mike” Higgins, 95, of Craigsville died Monday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born Jan. 21, 1916, in Chicora, he was a son of the late Maude (Baker) Montgomery.

He worked at Graff Kittanning Clay Products in Craigsville.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington.

Surviving are his sons, Richard G. Higgins Jr. (Lisa) of Worthington and Daniel Higgins (Barbara) of Chambersburg; and a grandson, Wesley Michael Higgins (Jennifer) of Kittanning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Swigart) Higgins.

<B>HIGGINS</B> — Friends of Richard G. “Mike” Higgins, who died Monday, May 2, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME </B>in Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nola Eisenbrandt officiating.
