Clayton R. Floyd, 16, of Prospect passed away unexpectedly Tuesday.

Born June 20, 1994, in Stahl-stown, Westmoreland County, he was the son of Carl and Sherron (Moore) Floyd of Prospect.

Clayton was a junior at Slippery Rock High School, where he was editor of the school's newspaper, The Hi-Rocket.

He loved music, especially drumming, and he had been a drummer in the Praise Band at the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church and the Christ Community United Methodist Church, where he also enjoyed volunteering in the nursery.

Clayton brought a light into the life of everyone he touched.

In addition to his parents, he also is survived by his brother, Logan Floyd; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Moore of Zelienople; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

<B>FLOYD </B>— There will be no visitation. A memorial service for Clayton R. Floyd, who died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N.
