Thomas “Tom” Franklin Brothers, 42, of Butler passed away early Monday morning at his home.

He was born Oct. 4, 1968, in Butler, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Anna Lenora Brothers.

He was a mechanic who enjoyed working on automobiles and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina “Tina” Judge Brothers, who he married Feb. 14, 2000; one son, Thomas Franklin Brothers II, at home, his siblings, Roger (Carol) Kline of Renfrew, LaVerne (Lynn) Kline of Boyers, Peggy Sue (Douglas) Plaisted of Harrisville and Vauhn Brothers of Lawrenceville; a number of nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Donna Judge of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Benjamin Brothers.

<B>BROTHERS </B>— Visitation for Thomas “Tom” Franklin Brothers, who died Monday, May 9, 2011, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect, where a service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating.
