John V. Webber
John V. Webber, 50, died unexpectedly April 9 in Seattle, Wash.
John was born Jan. 17, 1961, to the late Lewis J. and Mary Helen Webber at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of the St. Paul Parish, Boy Scout Troop 6 and the Butler High School varsity football team.
He graduated from Butler High School in 1979 and the Calhoon MEBA Engineering School in Easton, Md., in 1985, receiving training as a marine engineer.
John was a member of the Marine Engineers Benevolent Association and active in his local chapter. He recently retired as a chief engineer.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Webber Weston of Lemoyne, Pa., Pat Althardt of Brunswick, Md., and Helen Moloney of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four brothers, Jim of Morgantown, W.Va., David of Columbia, Mo., Tom of Winchester, Va., and Paul of Seattle, Wash.; and 12 nieces and nephews.
