Michael A. Conlon, 72, of Zelienople passed away peacefully May 13 after a long illness.

Born Sept. 16, 1938, in Rochester, he was the son of Robert and Catherine Conlon.

Mike is survived by his lifelong love and wife, Carolyn Conlon; his brother, Robert; and his sister, Mary. Mike also is survived by his four children, Michael, Patrick, Kathleen and Mary; six grandchildren, Sean, Amanda, Daniel, Brandon, Patrick, and Sarah; and great- grandchildren, Heath and Hannah.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald; and a granddaughter, Cassandra.

Michael was a lifelong member of the St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, where he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Being an avid reader, Mike was formerly on the board of the Zelienople Public Library.

Michael's longtime hobby and passion was nature photography, where he and his wife, Carolyn, traveled extensively and captured the beauty that surrounded them.

<B>CONLON </B>— A memorial Mass for Michael A. Conlon, who died Friday, May 13, 2011, will be at 10 a.m. May 28 at the St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., Zelienople, PA 16063.Arrangements are entrusted to <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, Zelienople, and online condolences may be submitted at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
