Cerita 'Ruth' Twentier
Cerita “Ruth” Twentier, 70, of West Sunbury passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Clearfield Township, the daughter of the late James and Eva (Zelinski) Hurley.
Ruth had been a member of the Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department and had worked at the Butler County Humane Society.
She enjoyed cooking, fishing, listening to country music and shopping, and she had a love for animals. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sheltie dogs.
Surviving are her husband, Charles L. Twentier, who she married June 14, 1958,; two daughters, Mary Jo (Robert) Ivonowski of Butler and Terri (Ronald) Ayers of Evans City; a son, Charles R. (Marlene) Twentier of Fenelton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Cathy (Robert) Rottman of Karns City; and a brother, Tom (Shirley) Hurley of Meridian.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Lunn; a son-in-law, Robert Lunn; and three brothers, Robert, James, and Ronald Hurley.
