Dolores Bober

Dolores Bober, 79, of West Deer Township died Tuesday at St. Barnabas in Richland Township.

She was born June 3, 1931, in Curtisville, Allegheny County, to the late Ann Rock.

Dolores worked as an Avon representative at the former Gimbel's department store of Pittsburgh and the former Bradley Center in Dorseyville for 31 years, retiring in 1992.

She belonged to the ACME Club of Harwick, and she was a Democratic Committee Woman for West Deer Township.

Mrs. Bober was a very unselfish person and the caregiver to her late husband, Joe, for 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Tom) Barnes of Florida; a son, Wayne (Lila) Bober of Industry; grandchildren, Dawn Bober of New Castle, Keri (Eric) Mengel of Ellwood City and Jacob Bober of Canton, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Savanna, Wyatt, Pete, Gage and Mason.

<B>BOBER</B> — Visitation for Dolores Bober, who died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., with a panikhida at 7 p.m., at the <B>Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home</B>, Starr Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. A litya service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in funeral home with the funeral service 11 a.m. at the St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral, Allison Park, with the Rev. Michael Senyo, officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township, Allegheny County.
